About the Product:

Today I am going to do a detailed review om Aroma essentials Carrot sun block, this comes with SPF 30 which is sufficient for Indian climatic conditions. the aroma essentials is a bangalore based brand and they ship to different places in India, USA, Dubai etc. They make natural handmade products which are chemical and parabens free.

This sun block is in creamish white color, available in 2 sizes i.e., 20 grams and 35 grams packaging. The product comes in a tiny test tube bottle, with a flip open cap. Right amount of product dispenses from the dispenser. The price is Rs.150 for 20 grams and Rs.300 for 35 grams. The contact details to buy the product are listed in the end of the post.

The product contains carrot oil, mint, Lavender & Zinc. Carrot oil is rich in anti-oxidants which help in repairing the damages of skin tissues, its anti-septic as well. Mint has anti-inflammatory properties which soothes the irritated skin and cools down the skin, adds a refeshing feeling to the skin & also mint is rich is natural salicylic acids which helps in clearing acne. Lavender also helps in inflammated skin and heals the skin, makes skin regain its elasticity which helps in firming the skin and makes you look beautiful. The Zinc oxide present in sun block is natural and not a chemical, it helps to physically block the ultra violet alpha and beta rays and reflects the rays. It has natural astringent so it also helps in minimizing the pore size.

Usage and Experience:

Sun block contains zinc which reflects the UV rays, this product rather sits on the skin rather than penetrating deep into the skin. So, you can just apply the sunblock and leave the house rather than wait for 15 mins in the case of few sunscreens.

I use 3 drops of the product for the entire face and neck, this product can be used by normal to oily skin people, blends really well and does not leave any whitish cast like other sunscreens. This gives a matte finsih, does not make your skin oily for the entire day, I use it as a primer as well and it pretty well did hold on my makeup for 8 hours…

This product does not clog your pores, very light, I would suggest you to store it in the fridge and use it. This gives a cooling, minty feeling when applied. It did not make my skin dark or tanned. I would sugest you all to re-apply any sunscreen after 6 hours of application. The packaging is very travel friendly, so you can take it anywhere with you. The product is sufficient for 1 month usage.

Pros:

  • Matte finish
  • Non-greasy
  • Easy blending
  • 100% natural products
  • Animal testing free
  • protects from sun damage

Cons:

  • None I can notice

Storage:

The product is made of natural ingredients and no preservatives are added, so this should be stored in a cool temperature (refrigerator). And the product is best for 6 months from the date of manufacturing.

Rating: 5/5
