Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Creams

I am here to review the most requested product which peope are raving about, Miss Claire soft matte lip creams. These are exact dupes for Nyx soft matte lip creams. Today I am not going to compare these both, but I’ll just give you angels the swatches of Miss Claire lip creams, my review on them & what are my favorite shades.

I have been to Sephora Delhi to pick up Nyx soft matte lip creams and they where Out of stock and I was so disappointed. And my friend suggested me to check out Miss claire and now I am crazy about these lip creams. They have my heart.

Claim: It’s not lipstick, nor is it a gloss. It’s like nothing you have experienced before. It’s lipstick cream that goes on silky but looks soft matte.

Price:

Rs: 150-220 per piece for 6.5 grams of product

Packaging:

the product comes in a round plastic bottle which is transparent and has a black screw open cap. It is very light weight, does not spill, small size and easy to use, So you can carry it in your purse. The cap comes with a doe foot applicater which helps in easy application of the product even on the cupid’s bow. You can see the exact color of the shade from the bottle, so it makes us easy to select the shade.

Shades:

These lip creams come in almost 20+ shades and they are gorgeous shades. They have couple of shades in Nudes, Pinks, Plums, Oranges, Red and Mauve shade. They have shade numbers on the bottom of the tube. I have picked 12 shades. Shade Number: 5, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 17A, 18, 18A.

My Experience:

The pigmentation is amazing, not too dark and not too light. You can top it on your lips as per your taste. You can buid up the color with 2-3 swipes with out any flaky lips, no smudging and it looks perfect.

The texture is also soft creamy, buttery texture, easily spreads and can rectify the mistakes if its gets messy, you jus need a Q-tip or wet wipes and your all sorted if you have made any mistake. It gives a soft matte look, not powdery. It also moisturises your lips really well, but I prefer to use a lip baml prior to application in order to protect my lips. If you have dry and flaky lips I recommend you to scrub/exfoliate them before you apply these lip creams, or else they show the flaky skin popped up which won’t look good. The texture looks creamy when you apply and once it dries turns soft matte.

Shade 13, 15, 18: These 3 shades are look like plum and mauve shades with a purple understone. This looks perfect for all skin tones fair, medium, dark.

Shade 18A: This one looks like a Neon Orange and would suit Fair skin tones.

Shade 5, 17A: These shades are peachy nudes and would suit fair to medium skin tones.

Shade 14, 17: These 2 are perfect Nudes for fair to Medium dark skin tones. It comes under brownish nude and looks gorgeous on lips.

Shade 12 is dark pink and my favourite of all the shades, shade 8 is also a gorgeous pink shade . These 2 shades would suit fair to medium dark skin tones.

Shade 10 is another gorgeous shade, this is a red shade with very little dark pink undertones. This shade looks stunning on any skin tone.

Shade 16: This is a gorgeous pinky nude shade and one of my favrite shade and it suits all skin tones.

My Top 5 Fav shades: 10, 12, 16, 17, 18 (13 & 8 as well)

The lip cream doesn’t fade for 4-6 hours unless you eat or drink anything. It does not give any patchy texture when it starts fading, you can definitely touch up. The color is little  transferable but its ok ..!! I don’t mind if its transferable. I really love the staying power. And I am really enjoying using these lip creams…:)

You can remove the lip cream by the end of the day using wet baby wipes or oil, can be removed very easily with out hurting your lips.
